We began Smarter Balance testing on Tuesday so our week was a bit different than most. We will continue to test this week. Thank you for making sure your child was at school on time this past week. Please make sure they arrive by 8:30 this week as well.
In reading we began preparing for our debate on whether the Industrial Revolution was a positive or negative time in our history. Ask your child what side they are on!
In writing, we studied informational books to learn different strategies authors use for writing. We also began to write our introduction of our Industrial Revolution book.
In math we learned about symmetrical figures, solved number stories, and practiced measuring angles. We will have our Unit 5 math test this Wednesday.
